The second book in the Dark Tower series. This is a re-read for me. The title refers to picking the three people to join the Gunslinger on his quest. I just flew through the book reading it in one day. It's a compelling, entertaining tale that I couldn't put down, however, I can't say it was terribly exciting. I like King's horror better than his fantasy. I am looking forward to the next book. 4 stars
