A Head Full of Ghosts by Paul Tremblay

The story of a family in the midst of trauma. Told fifteen years after the event the voice alternates from that of the youngest daughter and a blog dedicated to the horrific and the unusual. The family's eldest daughter is mentally unstable until the family turns to possession and exorcism as a last resort. I was terribly disappointed. I had expected scares and creeps but found none until the final chapters. The quickness with which the exorcism is approved by the church is unrealistic and the story was simply not scary in the least. This is a popular author so I will try him again to see if I connect with his work. 3 stars
