Wow!! Ohmygosh!! What a ride! This is the best book in the series to date! I'm not going to give away any plot details as there are a lot of surprises and cool things that happen in this volume and it's no fun if you already know what to expect. This volume doesn't concentrate on just any specific hero. We flip back and forth from Plutonian to various select members of the Paradigm, some of whom have minor story lines while others have major ones. I just finished reading the latest Incorruptible volume and I have to say as soon as I opened this book it reminded me of just how superior the artwork is here in Irredeemable. The art is just gorgeous and the backgrounds are carefully detailed. This volume contains a lot of action, which is good to see because we've been working on character development in the last couple of issues. That doesn't mean character development is left aside here though either. We learn more about Keiko's past and powers. Gil's minor role is all about character and we delve deeper into Qubit's character as well. Much, much more happens though and I've left out the names of many other major players. And to conclude the volume off is an unbelievable scene that makes me not sure I can last until June for the next volume!
