Last year I decided I wanted to read everything by Orson Scott Card. Since then I've read a few of his books here and there. Today I discovered the Cardathon Challenge and I've decided to join the challenge and make it official. The good news is that it doesn't start until Jan 2008 and it runs until whenever.

  1. So glad you're joining in Nicola! I can't tell you how excited I am about this challenge :D Orson Scott Card is my favorite author and I was thrilled to hear that Becky was doing this challenge. I've read almost everything of his and the last few books that I haven't will be read during this challenge. My favorite of his is Speaker for the Dead...it's my favorite book ever written :) The Homecoming series is amazing, you have a real treat waiting for you there! This will be fun!

  2. Good luck with that, he is one of those authors that seems to write in a lot of different genres! I am sad to admit I have never read him before, although I do own some of his books.... Maybe I will just join in in spirit and read one book by him. :)

  3. Chris, I'm really looking forward to reading more of his stuff. I'm especially interested in trying his biblical fiction. As you can see I haven't read that many of his books yet but I think Lost Boys is my favourite so far. It was so freaky!

Kailana, I'd love to see you join in! Ender's Game is definately one not to be missed!

  4. So glad you've joined Nicola. I plan on reading as much as I can for the challenge. I haven't blogged about any of Card's books except Ender's Game and Worthing Saga, so I'll be rereading them all for this challenge--and beyond. Since it does go until 'whenever.' I know it probably sounds odd to have an ongoing challenge like this. But I can't imagine a time when I would not be eager to read Card or Card-related books.
