7. The Funeral by Matt James

I was expecting more, however, this is a simple story of how natural death is and that children should be allowed to attend funerals and see the normalness of them. A little girl goes to her great-uncle's funeral and has a good, interesting time; ending the day by playing with her cousin outside during the reception. I absolutely love the illustrations though, which I think are done in gouache.
