Monday: Arcs in the Mail

Another good week doing my part to keep the postal system in business with 7 new arcs arriving at my doorstep last week. I am particularly eager to reader this set, a collection of all my favourite genres: mystery thrillers, entertainment memoirs, victoriana, and YA fantasy! With 7 in and 3 read and reviewed (and 2 more read but not reviewed so they don't count for last weeks stats) that makes an actual total of 4 arcs added to TBR Planet (it can no longer reasonably be called a mountain). Click on a book to find out more about it.

  1. I love Deaver's books. I a little jealous of that one! :-)

  5. Lezlie - I haven't read a Deaver book yet. Thought it was about time I started!

Everybody else - Yeah, I'm really looking forward to Melissa Gilbert's memoirs. I really hope she spends a lot of time on the The Little House years as the title aludes to, as that is what I am most particularly interested in about her. Yeah, I love little house. I've started collecting the DVDs. I've got up to Season 3 and it still so great, Season 4 is going to be sad though 'cause that is when Mary goes blind and I always liked her better than Laura. I guess because I was an older sister, too!

  6. I've never heard of Michael Cox before but those covers are gorgeous! I would definitely pick them up if I saw them at a store. Enjoy the reads!

  7. Wow! Each of those look fantastic! Can't wait to see your reviews. Not really sure about the Melissa Gilbert book. I was never a huge Little House fan...and when I watched it, I liked Mary the best!

  8. Trish - I had never heard of Michael Cox before either but these are Victorian style books kind of like Drood or Kept so right up my alley and I'm so looking forward to them but they are doorstoppers so I'll have to pace them out a bit.

Stephanie - right with ya. A Mary fan here too. But I still loved Little House!
